Dumpster set on fire
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating a Dumpster fire outside the old Philipsburg Elementary School on Dec. 5.
Police said the fire was set by unknown means between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and damage was estimated at more than $1,000.

Drug paraphernalia
BELLEFONTE — Kyle Meeker, 22, of Bellefonte has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Moose Run Road in Boggs Township, Centre County at 9:25 p.m. Dec. 6, according to state police at Rockview.
Police said charges were filed through a district judge.
Marijuana found in vehicle
BELLEFONTE — Christy Powell, 40, of Bellefonte, is accused of drug possession after state police at Rockview found drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana in her vehicle during a traffic stop.
Police said Powell’s vehicle was stopped on Flat Rock Road in Worth Township and an odor of marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and drug paraphernalia and marijuana was found, police said.
