Hit and run

LOCK HAVEN — On Christmas Eve shortly after noon at 12:03 police were dispatched to Weis Market parking lot in response to a hit and run call.

Police say the vehicle struck belonged to Karli Coleman of Lock Haven, who stated that a red Pontiac attempted to pull into the parking space next to her only to hit the rear passenger side of her car.

Coleman also said that before she could stop the other vehicle to prevent further damage, the driver of the Pontiac who was described as an older woman pulled through the spot, circled around and headed toward West Bald Eagle Street.

Coleman was not injured but her white Honda Accord received a minor scratch and red paint transfer on the rear passenger wheel and rear bumper behind the tire, police say. Coleman stated the Pontiac in question would have damage to the front driver’s side.
