Harassment at fast food restaurant

MILESBURG — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of harassment that took place at 2:49 p.m. on Jan. 14 at a fast food restaurant.

According to police, David Beck, 35, and Kara Bruss, 20, both of Bellefonte, were harassing employees at the McDonald’s on North Eagle Valley Road in Boggs Township, Centre County. Police were told this has been an ongoing issue. The victim was a 56-year-old Howard female.

Beck and Bruss were both charged with harassment.

Man charged with DUI

MILESBURG — A State College man was charged with DUI on New Year’s Eve.

According to State Police at Rockview, Jonathan Baird, 35, was stopped along old state Route 220 in Milesburg Borough, Centre County and arrested for DUI.

Bad checks

SNOW SHOE — On Jan. 13, a 47-year-old Snow Shoe man was arrested for bad checks.

According to State Police at Rockview, James Carlin was charged with passing a bad check. The victim was a 61-year-old Snow Shoe man.

The investigation continues.
