Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — State Police at Rockview recently made a drug arrest.

According to police, they were conducting a regulatory traffic checkpoint when they encountered a 2012 Nissan truck that had a strong smell of marijuana. Upon investigation, police found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia. Carlton Hopkins, 56, of Bellefonte, was found to be under the influence of marijuana. Drug and DUI charges were filed against him for the incident, which took place at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 20 in Spring Township, Centre County.

DUI investigated

STATE COLLEGE — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of DUI that took place at the intersection of East College Avenue and Elmwood Street at 11:53 p.m. on Feb. 6.

The suspect was a known female who was not identified by police. Charges are pending in the case.

Harassment investigated

BOALSBURG — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of harassment.

According to police, they are investigating an incident of harassment involving a 5-year-old girl from Boalsburg. The incident took place sometime between 1 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 16, 2019.

The investigation is ongoing.

Drug possession

MILESBURG — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of drug possession that took place at the intersection of Turnpike Street and Lion’s Street in Milesburg Borough, Centre County.

According to police a 25-year-old male was suspected of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Charges are pending in the case, which took place at 12:40 a.m. on Feb. 7.
