Inmate in possession of weapon

BELLEFONTE — Anthony Conseal, 34, of Bellefonte, was found in possession of a homemade weapon while serving a sentence at SCI Benner on Feb. 1, state police at Rockview said.

No injuries

CENTRE HALL — An 18-year-old Centre Hall man was not injured following a one vehicle crash at the intersection of Earlystown and Hoot roads, Centre Hall on Feb. 3, state police at Rockview said.

Andrew D. Long was traveling west on the roadway when he lost control of his 2014 Hyundai Sonata after hitting an unknown object on the roadway, police said.

Long’s vehicle swerved off the north side of the road, spinning clockwise before coming to rest facing east, police said.

Long was cited for not driving on roadways laned for traffic, police said.

PFA violation

MILLHEIM — A 44-year-old Millheim woman reportedly violated a protection from abuse order on Jan. 30, state police at Rockview said.

The woman, whose name was not listed, was charged and transported to Centre County Correctional Facility, police said.

Hit and run

SPRING MILLS — State police at Rockview reported a hit and run that occurred on Feb. 3 at 11:33 a.m. along Penns Valley Road, Gregg Township, Centre County.

The driver of a Chevrolet vehicle was backing out of a parking spot when they struck a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, driven by Yukona R. Weaver, 68, of Millheim, police said.

The driver fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.

Retail theft

LINDEN — A 27-year-old Jersey Shore woman was charged with retail theft after allegedly attempting to take merchandise from the Dollar General, 7498 S. Route 220 Highway, without paying by placing items in a Dollar General bag, state police at Montoursville said.

Charges were filed through district court, police said.
