Two-vehicle crash

LOCK HAVEN — State Police at Lamar investigated a two-vehicle crash that took place at 6:59 a.m. on Feb. 18 along the Coudersport Pike in Gallagher Township, Clinton County.

According to police, a 2017 Lincoln Continental being driven by Becky Barner of Lock Haven was traveling along the Coudersport Pike when she lost control of her vehicle while negotiating a right-hand curve.

Her vehicle traveled into the path of a tractor trailer being driven by Raymond Harmer of Avis. Barner’s vehicle had to be towed from the scene. There were no injuries reported in the crash.

Drug arrest

MILL HALL — A Pittsburgh man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop at 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 16.

According to State Police at Lamar, Patrick Roche, 51, was stopped in his 2005 Toyota Camry for an inspection violation. Drug paraphernalia was observed in plain view. A probable cause search resulted in the seizure of a small amount of marijuana, methamphetamine, related paraphernalia and a “blackjack.”

Charges were filed through magisterial district justice 25-3-02 for drug offenses and the prohibited offensive weapon.

Motorcycle crash

LOCK HAVEN — State Police at Lamar were called to the scene of a motorcycle crash that took place at 5:38 p.m. on Feb. 17 along Lusk Run Road in Bald Eagle Township, Clinton County.

According to police, a 2017 Kawaski 300 being driven by Richard Kelley, 43, of Mill Hall was traveling north in the right lane of Lusk Run Road when he failed to negotiate a right-hand turn, crossed a double yellow line and traveled into the left lane. Kelly then struck the guard rail and was thrown from the motorcycle. Kelley was transported by Lock Haven EMS to UPMC Williamsport.

He was cited with careless driving, failure to drive in the right lane and driving without a proper license. The motorcycle was taken from the scene by Martin Motors. The Mill Hall Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Two-vehicle crash

LAMAR — State Police at Lamar investigated a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Nittany Valley Drive and Cherry Run Road in Porter Township, Clinton County at 7:52 a.m. on Feb. 13.

According to police, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee being driven by Wendy Masorti, 51, of Mill Hall pulled out from Cherry Run Road onto Nittany Valley Drive and drove into the path of a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander being driven by Jonathan Pearce, 29, of Howard. Pearce tried to avoid the crash, but could not and struck a concrete porch of a nearby residence. The Outlander came to rest on its roof.

Pearce sustained a minor injury in the crash. Masorti was cited for her role in the crash.
