Drug Possesion

CENTRE HALL — A 20-year-old Centre Hall man is accused of drug possesion by state police at Rockview.

Police said the man was stopped for a vehicle code violation on Brush Valley Road at 12:29 p.m. Feb. 19, and investigation revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his 2007 Honda Accord.

Scammed of $2,500

BELLEFONTE — A 67-year-old Bellefonte woman reported to state police at Rockview that she had been scammed to the tune of $2,500.

Police said the woman was contacted by text message and was offered a job to purchase Nike gift cards and write reviews about her experience. They gave her specific instructions to send them pictures of the front and backs of the cards and she followed directions before realizing it was a scam, police said.

Criminal mischief

HOWARD — A 62-year-old Howard woman reported damage to the bathroom sink of her recreational vehicle on Feb. 22, according to state police at Rockview. Damage was estimated at $350.

Minor injuries

BEECH CREEK — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries was in a two-vehicle accident at 1:46 p.m. on Feb. 3 on Route 150 in Liberty Township.

State police at Rockview said a car operated by Susan Rossman, of Beech Creek entered the roadway from a driveway into the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Michael L. Bame of Lock Haven, who was southbound on Route 150. Bame, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries, police said.
