CENTRE HALL — The driver of a 2002 Harley-Davidson Sportster fled the scene of a crash along Brush Valley Road just west of Blue Ball Road, Centre Hall on Feb. 3 at 4:29 p.m., state police at Rockview said.
The crash occurred when the driver was attempting to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, police said.
The motorcycle exited the right side of the road and traveled down an embankment into a ditch, police said.
The motorcycle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Kuppel’s Towing where it is being stored, police said.
BELLEFONTE — A Port Matilda man was arrested after attempting to break into a home on White Pine Lane, Boggs Township, state police at Rockview said.
Willis Englert, 29, was found attempting to enter a home, owned by Todd Fisher, of Milesburg, to retrieve his property on Jan. 12 at 1:51 a.m., police said.
Englert was arrested and placed in the Centre County Correctional Facility, police said.
Trespassing leads to possible DUI charge
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of trespassing and DUI that occurred on Feb. 5 at 11:05 p.m.
A 48-year-old Milesburg woman may face charges of trespassing, DUI and unauthorized used of a motor vehicle pending an investigation, police said.
TUSSEYVILLE — State police at Rockview are investigating a hit and run incident that occurred on Jan. 25 at 5:20 a.m. along the General Potter Highway in Potter Township.
The crash occurred when the driver left their lane of travel and struck a legally parked vehicle along the left side of the roadway, police said.
The vehicle left the scene prior to police arrival and made no attempt to report the crash, police said.
