Prostitution investigated

CENTRE HALL — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of possible prostitution assisted or promoted along Penns Valley Pike, Potter Township on March 6.

PFA violation

BELLEFONTE — A 26-year-old Philipsburg man is facing PFA violation charges after he allegedly sent a message to his ex-fiancee through a mutual friend’s social media account, police said.

The victim, 34-year-old Bellefonte woman, showed police a screenshot of the message she received from the Facebook messenger account where the defendant asked that she add him on Snapchat, police said.

A follow up interview with the mutual friend confirmed the victim’s allegations, police said.

Contempt for violation of order charges were sent to the magistrate’s office, police said.

Inmate contraband

BELLEFONTE — An inmate at SCI Benner was found in possession of non drug related contraband on Jan. 16 at 6:58 a.m., state police at Rockview said.

Terroristic threats

CENTRE HALL — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of sexual assault and terroristic threats that occured between Aug. 4, 2013 and Aug. 4, 2014 in Potter Township, Centre County.

Investigation of rape

BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating an incident of possible rape which occurred between Aug. 4, 2009 and Aug. 4, 2012 in Boggs Township, Centre County.

Vehicle strikes tree

JERSEY SHORE — Todd A. Hill, 45, of Jersey Shore, was not injured following a one-vehicle accident along Route 973, Mifflin Township, Lycoming County on March 2, state police at Montoursville said.

Hill was traveling west on the road way his Geo Prizm traveled off the north side of the road and went down an embankment into a creek, striking a tree, police said.

Hill fled the scene, police said.

The vehicle was towed by Aikey’s Towing and police were assisted on the scene by Larry’s Creek Fire Department, police said.
