Vehicle strikes house
LOCKPORT — The driver of a 2005 Buick LeSabre suffered minor injuries after her vehicle crashed into multiple items before hitting a home along Coudersport Pike, Woodward Township on March 13, Woodward Township Police said.
Haroldine Peasley was traveling south on the roadway at 9:45 a.m. when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway, striking a a road side and continuing back onto the roadway, police said.
The vehicle crossed the roadway before entering the front yard of 1030 Coudersport Pike, traveling into another property at 1012 Coudersport Pike where it struck a watercraft trailer, police said.
The impact caused the trailer to be shoved into a snowmobile trailer which in turn was pushed into the residence causing damage to the exterior and interior walls, police said.
Peasley was found lying across the front floor of the vehicle under the dashboard and was extricated from the vehicle by emergency personnel, police said.
Peasley received minor injuries and admitted she was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident, police said.
Trespass in Bald Eagle Township
LOCK HAVEN — State Police at Lamar are investigating an incident of trespassing that occurred on Feb. 23 at 1:47 p.m. in Bald Eagle Township.
The victim, Stephen Ellis, 53, of Lock Haven, reported his trail camera captured unidentified individuals riding dirt bikes on his posted private property, police said.
WOOLRICH — The driver of a 2004 Lexus ES330 suffered a hand injury following a one vehicle crash along Little Plum Run Road, Gallagher Township on March 4 at 7:33 a.m., State Police at Lamar said.
Ning Zhou, 59, of Lock haven, was traveling on the roadway when he attempted to stop and avoid a collision with a crash in the same area, police said.
Due to icy conditions, Zhou was unable to stop causing him to strike an embankment on the right side of the roadway and overturn, police said.
Zhou suffered a cut to his hand while attempting to exit his vehicle which was assisted by Lock Haven EMS, police said.
