Minor assaulted, robbed

MILESBURG — A 15-year-old Milesburg boy was assaulted and robbed of his wallet and phone near the intersection of Playground Avenue and Commercial Street on May 22 at 8:53 p.m., state police at Rockview said.

The teenager was allegedly assaulted and robbed by four other minors, police said.

Police are currently investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information regarding the assault and robbery to contact PSP Rockview at 814-355-7545.

Assault with weapon

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview reported an alleged confrontation that occurred along Elm Road in Snow Shoe Township on May 17.

The suspect, no information listed, allegedly identified himself as a law enforcement officer and had a confrontation with the 58-year-old Moshannon victim, police said.

Vehicle strikes deer

HOWARD — The driver and three passengers of a 2010 Ford Fusion not injured following a one vehicle crash along North Eagle Valley Road, Liberty Township, state police at Rockview said.

Katie S. Yearick, 18, of Bellefonte, was traveling south on the roadway when a dear ran out into the roadway, police said.

Yearick did apply her breaks but was unable to avoid hitting the animal, police said.

The crash occurred on May 24 at 6:17 a.m. and everyone was wearing their seat belts at the time, police said.
