One-vehicle crash

BELLEFONTE — State Police at Rockview investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place at 7 p.m. on May 14 along Runville Road in Boggs Township, Centre County.

According to police, Randy Quick, 61, of Snow Shoe, was driving his 2014 Nissan Altima north along Runville Road when he fell asleep at the wheel. As the Altima approached a right-hand curve, it crossed into the southbound lane, struck the guiderail and came to rest facing north. Quick and a passenger, David Quick, 60, of Julian, were not hurt in the crash.

Randy Quick was cited for his role in the crash.

Stolen laptop

CENTRE HALL — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place on May 6 along Savannah Lane in Potter Township, Centre County.

According to police, a 23-year-old Harrisburg female stole a laptop from a student at Penns Valley High School and sold it without permission. The laptop was owned by the Penns Valley Area School District. Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.

Drug possession

AARONSBURG — A 21-year-old Homer City man was charged with drug possession at 12:44 a.m. on May 16.

State Police at Rockview report that the man was traveling in Haines Township, Centre County when has was pulled over in his 2006 Subaru Forester and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Marijuana and related paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.

Women cited for harassment

SPRING MILLS — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of harassment that took place along Wolf Hollow Lane in Gregg Township, Centre County. According to police, a 38-year-old Julian woman and a 31-year-old Spring Mills woman engaged in an altercation, which became physical.

Both women will be cited for harassment through Magisterial District Justice 49-3-04.

Disorderly conduct

HOWARD — On May 16, State Police at Rockview received a complaint of an individual attempting to open vehicles and various building doors at multiple locations along Spearing Street in Howard Borough, Centre County. A 48-year-old Beech Creek female was charged with disorderly conduct.

No items were stolen in the incident.

Bellefonte woman charged with harassment

BELLEFONTE — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of harassment that took place along Valley View Road in Benner Township, Centre County.

According to police, a 64-year-old Bellefonte woman verbally harassed a 33-year-old Bellefonte woman and her 2-year-old boy. The incident took place at 5:15 p.m. on May 16. An official harassment charge will be filed by Magisterial District Justice 49-3-02.
