Theft of services

BELLEFONTE — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of theft of services that took place around 4:20 p.m. on June 22 at Joel Confer Ford along the Benner Pike in Bellefonte.

It was discovered that two 24-year-old males from State College were using a dumpster belonging to Joel Confer Ford.

Charges are pending against the men.

Theft by deception

HAINES TOWNSHIP — A case of theft by deception was investigated by State Police at Rockview.

According to police, an 83-year-old man from Woodward was scammed out of $685 by someone claiming to be from Publisher’s Clearinghouse. Police have no leads at this time. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact State Police at Rockview at (814) 355-7545.
