Terroristic threats

JERSEY SHORE — Tyrone Thornton, 56, of Lock Haven, was arrested after an incident that took place during the early morning of July 3, state police at Montoursville said.

Thornton’s 1997 Chrysler was stopped at 12:02 a.m. near 2703 N. Route 44, Watson Township for a Title 75 violation, police said.

Through an investigation it was determined that Thornton was under the influence of alcohol but he declined to submit to a chemical test, police said.

During his arrest, Thornton made threats to assault Trooper Anthony Mazzone, police said.

Thornton was arraigned before District Judge William Solomon and placed in Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail, police said.
