Man defecates in laundromat

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police reported that a man defecated in public around 9:30 a.m. on July 1.

According to police, Gary Cain, Jr., 51, defecated in the laundromat at 310 N. Vesper St. and failed to clean up the mess. He was cited for the act.

Hit and run

SPRING MILLS — State Police at Rockview investigated a case of hit and run that took place shortly after midnight on July 3.

According to police, an unknown vehicle was traveling south on Green Grove Road when it left the roadway and struck a speed limit sign. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The investigation continues.

Drug possession

BELLEFONTE — A case of drug possession was investigated by State Police at Rockview.

The incident took place around 3:31 p.m. on July 5 near milemarker 77 along Interstate 99. Police say that a 2020 Nissan Altima was stopped by police and they discovered that a passenger, Alexander Serrano, 48, was in possession of three THC cartridges.

Criminal

mischief

JERSEY SHORE — State Police at Montoursville investigated a case of criminal mischief that took place at the Dollar General along state Route 44 in Limestone Township, Lycoming County. Police say that a 28-year-old Jersey Shore woman damaged a Dodge pickup truck owned by a 30-year-old man from Williamsport. She then fled the scene.

Police found the woman at her residence. She was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI with charges pending the results of a blood draw.
