Fleeing officers

BELLEFONTE — A juvenile male and his three passengers, all from New York, were apprehended following a vehicle chase along Interstate 80 near mile marker 154 in Boggs Township, Centre County, state police at Rockview said.

On Sept. 15 at 11:23 p.m., Cpl. Snyder stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The vehicle stopped and as Snyder made contact the driver put the vehicle into drive and stepped on the accelorator, police said.

Snyder engaged in a pursuit of the vehicle which traveled at a high rate of speed for about seven miles before the driver lost control and traveled into the median, police said.

The driver and his passengers were all apprehended and identified, police said.

No injuries were reported and charges are pending through district justice 49-3-02.

Bicycle stolen

LOCK HAVEN — A bicycle was stolen from the rear of a residence at 22 W. Park St. in the city between Sept. 13 and 14, Lock Haven City Police said.

The light purple bike has a white seat, basket and trailer hitch and is valued at about $400, police said.

Package stolen

LOCK HAVEN — A package valued at $50 was stolen from 740 E. Bald Eagle St. in the city on Sept. 14, Lock Haven City Police said.

The package contained jerky and toys and was taken sometime before 4 p.m., police said.

Drug overdose

MILESBURG — State police at Rockview responded to a drug overdose along Eagle Street in Milesburg, Centre County on Sept. 16.

The victim was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment, police said.
