Head on collision

LOCK HAVEN — One person was injured in a head on collision at the intersection of South Jones and Mt. Vernon streets on Aug. 18, Lock Haven City Police said.

Keith Hamm, of Lock Haven, was traveling north on South Jones Street when his 2004 Ford Expedition was struck head on by a 2008 Ford Fusion, driven by Helen Gallagher, of Lock Haven, police said.

Gallagher told police she must have turned in front of him as she attempted to pull onto Mt. Vernon Street. It was noted that the sun was bright around the time of the crash, police said.

Hamm told police he was traveling north on the roadway when he saw Gallagher’s vehicle pull in front of him. He attempted to stop stop once he saw the vehicle in his lane but was unable to, police said.

Hamm suffered a head injury and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven by Lock Haven EMS, police said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene and Gallagher was issued a citation in relation to turning movements and required signals, police said.

LOCK HAVEN — Joshua Goodbrod, 32, of Linden Street, Lock Haven, was cited for playing music too loudly at 3:25 a.m. on Oct. 17, Lock Haven City Police said.
