Tractor trailer involved in crash
LOCK HAVEN — The driver of a Jeep Wrangler was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital by Lock Haven EMS for injures sustained in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Bellefonte Avenue with Second Avenue and Barton Street, Lock Haven City Police said.
Virginia Jones was coming back from work at First Quality on Oct. 6 at 3:27 p.m., when she stopped at the red light where Second Avenue meets Bellefonte Avenue, police said.
Jones told police the light turned green and she was attempting to make a right turn to travel east onto Bellefonte Avenue when she was swiped by a tractor trailer, driven by William Irvin, sending her vehicle into the traffic light pole on the corner of the intersection, police said.
Irvin told police he was traveling east on the road when he went through a yellow light and Jones ran into the right side of his truck, police said.
Witnesses of the action Randy Bardo and his passenger Noelle Shilling told police they were stopped along Bellefonte Avenue facing west when Irvin was traveling through the yellow light, police said.
Another witness, Susan Butler, was stopped at a red light on Barton Street when she saw Jones start traveling after the light turned green when the her and Irvin’s vehicles collided, police said.
Jones was cited in relation to traffic control signals, police said.
LOCK HAVEN — Travis Scott Condo, of Dogwood Circle Drive, Lock Haven, was arrested after passing a $20 and a $50 bill at the Puff-N-Snuff along Woodward Avenue on Aug. 11 and 19, Woodward Township Police said.
Condo, who was on state parole, was arraigned before District Judge Keith Kibbler and placed in the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
Boat damaged, keys stolen
LINDEN — State police at Montoursville responded to a report of damage to a boat and stolen keys along Mahaffey Hollow Road, Woodward Township, Lycoming County on Oct. 3.
The damage to the boat was estimated to be approximately $460 and the stolen Ford F-150 and Chrysler-300 keys were valued at a combined $360, police said.
The damage and theft occurred sometime between Aug. 30 and Oct. 3, police said.
BELLEFONTE — Munkhtuvshin Gansukh, 31, of Schaumburk, Ill., was found to be driving under the influence when his tractor trailer was pulled over along Runville Road, Boggs Township, Centre County on Sept. 16, state police at Rockview said.
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview are investigating a possible firearms violation that occurred when the suspect, name not listed, attempted to purchase a firearm through JE Guns, 125 Rockrimmon Drive, on Sept. 24.
Political flag stolen
LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Police reported a $15 political flag was taken from the front porch of a home on the 200 Block of West Water Street overnight between Oct. 5 and 7.
