Two-vehicle crash
BELLEFONTE — State police at Rockview investigated a two-vehicle accident that took place along Runville Road in Boggs Township, Centre County.
According to police, a 1989 Cadillac DeVille being driven by Robert Pavao, 64, of Snow Shoe was traveling northbound along state Route 144 when he lost control of his vehicle and traveled into the southbound lane. It stuck a 2016 Ford F-150XLT being driven by Timothy Watson, 54, of Milesburg.
Pavao was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to UPMC Altoona via LifeFlight. Watson and a passenger were also injured and taken to the Mount Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS for treatment of minor injuries.
Both vehicles sustained severe damage and had to be towed from the scene.

LOCK HAVEN — The Woodward Township Police Department reports receiving complaints of residents receiving phone calls from persons claiming to be the “Federal Reserve System.” The caller tries to obtain personal information from them. Township police wish to advise residents that this is a scam and never to provide your personal information to anyone that has made unsolicited phone calls or emails to them.
