Hit and Run

LOCK HAVEN — A vehicle struck signs at the intersection of East Park and Myrtle streets in an apparent hit and run incident on Jan. 3, Lock Haven City Police said.

Tire marks were seen on the curb and sidewalk where the street and stop signs were knocked over, police said.

Officers went to First Quality Tissue to see if they could identify the vehicle involved in the incident but were unable to, police said.

The signage was taken by police to the city’s Second Avenue Garage and a temporary stop sign was placed at the intersection, police said.
