One-vehicle crash

HOWARD — State police at Rockview investigated a one-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 64 in Walker Township, Centre County on Feb. 10.

According to police, a 2020 Ford Escape being driven by Kristina Kramer-Jury, 54, of Howard was traveling East along state Route 64 when she lost control of her vehicle due to the weather. Her vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Damage to her vehicle was severe and she was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Bellefonte EMS for treatment of a minor injury.

The crash took place at 8:11 p.m.

Theft by deception

BELLEFONTE — A case of theft by deception was investigated by state police at Rockview on Feb. 19.

According to police, Deborah Nyman, 68, of Bellefonte, was contacted by someone who stated they were with DirecTV and were offering a deal. She was advised to purchase $360 in Ebay gift cards and provide information over the phone within four hours.

There are no suspects in the incident, which took place around 6:31 p.m.
