Fugitive captured in Kentucky
LOCK HAVEN — Donald Lee Adams, Jr., 42, previously of Clinton County, was captured in the morning of March 5, 2021 in a cabin in the mountains of Kentucky. Adams was located and taken into custody by members of the Kentucky State Police and the U.S. Marshall’s Office.
Officers breached the front door of the cabin and located Adams. At the time, officers report that Adams had so many guns that they referred to it as “an arsenal”. There is currently an investigation into the weapons that were located. It is also unclear at this time as to whom the cabin belongs.
Adams was charged in 2013 for burglarizing the Clinton County Infant Development building. After the burglary, Adams fled the state.
Theft at Sheetz
BELLEFONTE — At 3:26 a.m. on March 29, a case of theft that took place at Sheetz was investigated by state police at Rockview.
An unknown suspect allegedly exited the Sheetz without paying for multiple items. The investigation is ongoing.
BELLEFONTE — At 4:35 p.m. on March 30, state police at Rockview investigated a car crash that occurred on Spring Creek Road in Benner Township.
According to police, Emily Coslo, 20, of Lock Haven was traveling south in her 2011 Ford Fiesta and struck a guiderail along the right shoulder of the road. Just after striking the guiderail, she struck a small stone building in the right side of the road.
Coslo’s vehicle sustained disabling damage to the right front side of the vehicle and front passenger side wheel. She was not hurt, police said.
BELLEFONTE — At 6 p.m. on Jan. 27, state police at Rockview received a call involving a possible theft incident that occurred on Town Lane Road in Miles Township.
Cash was allegedly stolen from the victim, a 21-year-old man from Miles Township, police said.
SNOW SHOE — At 7:29 p.m. on March 29, state police at Rockview investigated an incident involving a confused male honking his horn while parked in the middle of East Sycamore Road in Snow Shoe Township.
The 35-year-old man from Meriden, Conn., was taken to the hospital for evaluation, police said. At the conclusion of the test, it was determined that the man was suffering a medical impairment issue and was released, police said.
