Driving under the influence

LOGANTON — At 4:45 p.m. on April 6, a traffic stop was conducted by state police at Lamar along Interstate 80 East in Greene Township, Clinton County. The arrestee allegedly was traveling at a high rate of speed near milemarker 193.

According to police, the operator, a 20-year-old 20, man from Terre Haute, Ind., was arrested for DUI. The vehicle was subsequently searched by police which yielded controlled substances.

Charges are pending.

PFA violation

BEECH CREEK — At 3:30 p.m. on April 4, a PFA violation was investigated by state police at Lamar along Eagle Valley Road in Beech Creek Township.

According to police, Zachary Zidick, 28, of Beech Creek was observed on private property. Charges were filed and Zidick was picked up and taken in custody, according to police.

One-vehicle crash

RENOVO — At 9:11 p.m., on March 30, a crash occurred on Renovo Road in Grugan Township, Clinton County.

State Police at Lamar investigated the accident and found the driver, Melissa Perry, 42, of Renovo, fell asleep while traveling North on state Route 120 and drove off of the roadway and crashed her 2010 MKZ Lincoln-Continental into a tree.

Perry was injured in the crash and was transported by Lock Haven EMS to UPMC Williamsport.

PFA violation

MILL HALL — At 2:23 p.m., on April 4, a PFA violation took place along on Sugar Run Road in Bald Eagle Township. It was investigated by state police at Lamar.

According to police, the arrestee, Mark Hubbard, 31, of Lock Haven, emailed the victim from the Clinton County Correctional Facility. Police confirmed the information and charges were filed against Hubbard for violating the PFA.

Fire destroys mobile home

CROSS FORKS — State Police Fire Marshal Nick Loffredo reported the cause of a fire over the weekend that destroyed a mobile home in Cross Forks is undetermined.

Loffredo said the home was destroyed by fire.

He said the owner, James Maguire, was not at home at the time of the blaze, and there were no injuries.
