PFA violation

HUBLERSBURG — At 6:58 p.m. on April 23, state police at Rockview investigated a PFA violation that took place on Hublersburg Road in Walker Township, Centre County.

According to police Kenneth Caris, 44, of Lock Haven, was blocking a female victim, 44, of Beech Creek, in a parking lot. Once she was able to leave the parking lot, Caris followed her onto Hublersburg Ridge Road and through Howard Borough, according to police.

He then allegedly continued to follow her into the Blanchard area before the victim lost him, police said.

Criminal mischief

BELLEFONTE — A case of criminal mischief was investigated by state police at Rockview around 7 p.m. on May 3.

According to police, the Centre County Youth Detention Center reported a juvenile had caused damage inside the facility. Upon arrival to the scene, police determined that a juvenile had caused damage to a plexiglass insert in a door inside the facility valued at $200.

Applicable charges will be filed upon evaluation of the door, police said.
