Theft by deception

CENTRE HALL — State police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place on May 3.

According to police, Kerry Confer, 57, of Bellefonte, began receiving unemployment benefits that she did not apply for. The incident took place along 2935 Penns Valley Pike in Potter Township, Centre County.

The incident took place around noon. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft investigated

SNOW SHOE — A case of theft was investigated by state police at Rockview on May 3.

According to police, Carl Borger, 60, of Moshannon said that a piece of railroad track was missing from his shed at 346 Spruce Road in Snow Shoe.

The incident was reported around 10 a.m.

The investigation continues.
