Smashed mailbox

DUNNSTOWN — An unknown actor committed an act of criminal mischief when they smashed a mailbox on 2116 Coudersport Pike Road between Oct. 16 and 17, Woodward Township Police reported.

ID scam

DUNNSTOWN — An unknown actor attempted to scam and steal the identity of an individual by locking their computer from a sent virus via email, Woodward Township Police said.

The incident was reported from Hillspire Drive on Oct. 18, police said.

Stolen donation money

HOWARD — State police at Rockview responded to the Howard Uni-Mart on Walnut Street for a report of stolen donation cash on Oct. 12.

PSP Rockview is investigating the theft.

Marijuana possession

HOWARD — State police at Rockview conducted a traffic stop on a 19-year-old Howard man for a signaling violation on Oct. 10.

Upon conducting an investigation, police located two men inside the 2008 Nissan Altima. The passenger of the vehicle was found to be in possession of multiple articles of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana, police said.

Physical harassment

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview investigated a physical harassment at 250 Elm Road on Oct. 17.

According to police, the incident occurred between Landen Bressler, 24, of Snow Shoe, and James Trude, 62, of Moshannon.

Upon further investigation, a non-traffic citation was filed for physical harassment against Trude, police said.
