Philly man charged with drug possession in Lamar Twp.
LAMAR — A recent search of a residence in Lamar Township lead to an arrest.
On Wednesday, June 22, an early evening search of a residence on McCloskey Lane lead to the arrest of Maurice Flipper Johnson, 35, according to Crimewatch.
Johnson, who provided a Philadelphia address upon arraignment, was alleged linked by police to previous drug deliveries to another man, Matthew Slota, who was arrested in Lycoming County earlier this week for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
When the Clinton County East Drug Task Force descended on McCloskey Lane, they located Johnson, along with a large amount of suspected methamphetamine and suspected heroin or fentanyl, packaging materials and scales.
The arrest was made in cooperation with the Office of Pennsylvania Attorney General Agents, Pine Creek Township Police Department and with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police in Lamar.
District Judge John Maggs set bail on Johnson at $250,000.
