Ice Shack offers ice cream, soft pretzels and much more
MILL HALL — If you enjoy soft ice cream cones, sundaes, milk shakes, and banana splits, you’ve got to stop at the Ice Shack in Mill Hall and try one of their delicious treats.
If you’re not an ice cream lover, you’ve still got to stop at the Ice Shack because they have delicious home-made soft pretzels, sandwiches and soups for lunch or a snack.
Locally owned and operated by Mennonites, the young ladies working there will greet you with a smile and serve you a generous heaping of whatever you’re having.
And all of the proceeds from the Ice Shack benefit the Bald Eagle Boys Camp, which is located in a wilderness setting to provide a non-punitive atmosphere where boys can work through problems and move towards behavioral, emotional, and spiritual wholeness.
The Ice Shack, which opens at noon Monday through Saturday and is closed on Sunday, offers a weekly flavor of soft serve ice cream, as well as weekly specials of soups and sandwiches.
