Spring Revival at Summit Hill
HOWARD — Everyone is invited to Spring Revival at Summit Hill Wesleyan Church, 1725 Summit Hill Rd., Howard from April 14 to 17.
The Sunday, April 14 morning service will take place 10:30 a.m. and the evening service at 6:30 p.m. with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m.
The following days services will take place at 7 p.m. and be conducted by Rev. Mike Neimond.
Combined worship at Clintondale UMC
MILL HALL — On Sunday, Clintondale and Mackeyville United Methodist churches will have a combined worship service at Clintondale United Methodist Chuch at 9:30 a.m.
There will be a lunch following the service.
Nittany Players present:
PHILIPSBURG — The Nittany Players, a cast of 25 performers, will present the Passion Play: Christ Lives, at the Roland Theater, 127 N. Front St., Philipsburg on Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. and Good Friday. They will also perform on Good Friday, April 19 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Snydertown. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Fundraiser dinner at Trinity UM
BELLEFONTE — Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., will be hosting a dinner to raise funds for a mission trip to Africa for Rieli Redman, a senior at Grace Prep High School. The dinner will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today. Tickets cost $9 for adults and $6 for kids 12 and under. Take out will be available.
Combined worship service
LOCK HAVEN — On Sunday the Covenant and Faith UMC Charge will be having a combined worship service at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven at 10:30 a.m. with a dish to pass meal following the service.
Nittany Valley Fellowship
LAMAR — The Nittany Valley Fellowship churches will be holding Lenten services for the next two Sundays at Lamar United Methodist Church, 5029 Nittany Valley Dr., Mill Hall. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Holy Spirit fish fry
starts March 8
LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish offers its weekly Lenten Fish Fry on Fridays, with the next one scheduled for April 5. The last fish fry of the season will be April 12.
The meal will be available at St. Agnes Parish Center, 3 E. Walnust St. The center’s dining room will be open from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and take-outs will start at 4 p.m. and be available until 6:30. They are $11, with the fried oyster meal $1 more. A child’s or petite meal is offered for $6.
