Jesus is the same

Rev. John Snyder

Hebrews 13.8 says:

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Jesus has not changed. Jesus has never changed. He is still the Savior of the world. He still forgives sin. He still gives eternal life.

Jesus was God in the flesh. He was fully God and fully man. He became the perfect sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He took upon Himself the sins of the world, all of our sins. He died so we could live. He payed the price so that we could enjoy His salvation.

The free gift of salvation and eternal life is still available to us today, as it was 2,000 years ago. His blood still pays for our sins. He is still able to deliver from bondages and bring healing into our lives.

Jesus still loves us with an everlasting love. His grace is there for us to receive. His offer of salvation is on the table. He wants us to know Him. He wants us to be saved. He is sill calling us to Himself.

Acts 4.12

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

John 1.12

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

Ephesians 2.8

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”

Romans 6.23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
