Pancake Supper Nov. 9

BELLEFONTE — Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., will be holding a pancake supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the church. There will be pancakes, toppings, sausage, applesauce and beverage. Cost is a donation. Call 814-355-9425 with questions.

River of Life looks

for donations

LOCK HAVEN — River of Life Fellowship is looking for donations for their Free Coat Give-away on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They would like to have coats, and jackets, especially for children, hats, scarves, gloves, boots, sweatshirts and sweaters. If you have donations, they can be left at the church at 507 E. Main St., Lock Haven at the door with the white ramp or we will pick up. Chicken and waffle dinner

LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will be hosting a chicken and waffle dinner today from 4 to 7 p.m. The meal will consist of chicken and gravy over waffles, candied baby carrots, creamy coleslaw and a variety of desserts. Cost is a donation and take out will be available.

Spiritual enrichment services

LOGANTON — Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Road, Loganton, will be hosting Spiritual Enrichment services on Sunday, Nov. 3 through Wednesday, Nov. 6. Surviving the Holidays

JERSEY SHORE — Crossroads Community Church, 1454 Route 44 Hwy., Jersey Shore, will be hosting a Surviving the Holidays event designed to help those dealing with grief. Craft Show

MILL HALL — New Hope Fellowship Church, 6436 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, are looking for vendors for their craft show on Nov. 23. Spaces cost $10. Those interested in can contact Mary Ann at 570-297-8324 to learn more about how to sign up. The show will also feature a soup sale.

Fall fair

FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding its Fall Fair on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. There will be an indoor yard sale, bake and fudge sale, various craft vendors, raffle baskets, and games for kids. The kitchen will be serving soups, sandwiches and homemade desserts. There will also be a soup sale, soups being offered are ham and bean, vegetable beef, and chicken corn, soups will be sold for $6 a quart. Soups maybe pre-ordered through Thursday, Nov. 7, for pickup the day of the fair. Place orders with the church office at 570-748-5741, Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Election dinner at First UM

JERSEY SHORE — First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, will be holding the 45th annual Election Day Dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 5 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 for adults; $4 for Children under 12; and Children under 4 eat free. The menu will include, baked ham, sweet potato, vegetable, coleslaw, rolls/butter, applesauce and pie. Takeout meals are available.

Holy Spirit Parish holds Christmas Bazaar

LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish will be holding its annual Holly Mart Christmas Bazaar at the Lock Haven Catholic School gymnasium, 311 W. Water St., Lock Haven, on Saturday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 10. There will be a silent auction, baked goods for sale, crafts for kids, theme baskets and cash drawings. The bazaar will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 9 with lunch available and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 10 with a continental breakfast option.

Community turkey dinner

SALLADASBURG — Salladasburg United Methodist Church will be hosting a community turkey dinner on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Take outs will be available for pick up before the meal from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted with all proceeds to benefit local charities.
