Italian night

LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton, will be holding and Italian night dinner today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church.

The cost is a donation and the meal will consist of lasagna roll-ups with meat sauce or marinara sauce, salad bar, garlic bread and a variety of homemade desserts.

Takeouts will be available and all donations will benefit the church building improvement fund.

Soup sale

LOCK HAVEN — Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, will be selling ham and bean soup for February.

The cost is $7 a quart with orders due by 1 p.m. Feb. 3. Homemade bread will also be available for $4 a loaf.

Pick up will be Feb. 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Annual Free Book Fair

HOWARD — St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, will be holding their annual Free Book Fair and Costless Closet on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All books, magazines, games, puzzles, and clothing are free. Please bring books to share (no encyclopedias). Check out the costless closet on the middle level of the church. A non-expired canned item for the local food bank is requested.
