Finishing well series
JERSEY SHORE — Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, 235 S. Main St., is hosting a free series called “Finishing Well — Living a Good Life All the Way to the End” each Wednesday evening now through April 8 from 5:30-7 p.m., with a light dinner and program for seniors, retirees, those about to retire, and caregivers.
The program will cover topics such as “Becoming your future best self,” “Living well in retirement,” “Reconciliation & Forgiveness,” “Passing on a legacy,” “Sharing your life story,” “Finding spiritual assurance,” “Making end-of-life preparations” and “Having something to look forward to.”

LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton, will be holding a turkey dinner today from 4 to 7 p.m.
The dinner will feature roast turkey, filling, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls and homemade desserts.
Cost will be a donation with all proceeds to benefit the church’s building improvement fund.
Take-outs will also be available.

AVIS — Avis United Methodist Church will be holding two church breakfasts 8 a.m. today and Saturday, April 4 at Restless Oaks Restaurant.
Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy good fellowship along with good food. Bring family, a friend or a neighbor!
Dinner and concert
JERSEY SHORE — The youth of Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, will be hosting a dinner and concert this Sunday.
The dinner will be at 6:15 p.m. and consist of hamburger barbeque, baked beans and macaroni and cheese.
The concert will begin shortly after dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Stations of the Cross
LOCK HAVEN –Area parishes will be holding Stations of the Cross programs weekly during Lent.
Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, will be holding their program each Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. with Lock Haven Catholic School at the church.
St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, will be holding their program at 6 p.m. each Wednesday.
St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, will be holding their program each Friday at 7 p.m.
St. Patrick’s Day dinner
BELLEFONTE — St. John’s Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 120 W. Lamb St., Bellefonte, will be hosting a St. Patrick’s Day dinner on Saturday, March 14 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The meal will consist of traditional New York style corned beef and cabbage with dessert and beverage. The cost is $20 per person and $15 for children 10 and under.
Take out will be available.
