Pancake supper

BELLEFONTE — Trinity United Methodist Church, 128 W. Howard St., Bellefonte, will be hosting a pancake supper from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today.

The cost is a donation and the meal will consist of pancakes and toppings, sausage, applesauce and a beverage.

Finishing well series

JERSEY SHORE — Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church, 235 S. Main St., is hosting a free series called “Finishing Well – Living a Good Life All the Way to the End” each Wednesday evening now through April 8 from 5:30-7 p.m., with a light dinner and program for seniors, retirees, those about to retire, and caregivers. Church breakfasts

AVIS — Avis United Methodist Church will be holding two church breakfasts 8 a.m. today and Saturday, April 4 at Restless Oaks Restaurant.

Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy good fellowship along with good food. Bring family, a friend or a neighbor!

Ham loaf dinner

SALLADASBURG — Salladasburg United Methodist Church will be hosting a ham loaf dinner on Saturday, April 4 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Cost is a donation which will benefit World Vision’s 30 hour famine. Come enjoy a good meal and fellowship.

Stations of the Cross

LOCK HAVEN –Area parishes will be holding Stations of the Cross programs weekly during Lent. Immaculate Conception Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, will be holding their program each Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. with Lock Haven Catholic School at the church. St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., Renovo, will be holding their program at 6 p.m. each Wednesday. St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, will be holding their program each Friday at 7 p.m.

Guest speaker at First Baptist

LOCK HAVEN — First Baptist Church, 210 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, will be hosting guest speaker Ari Hauben of Chosen People Ministries on Sunday at 6 p.m. Hauben will present a program centered around Antisemitism and the Gospel. JERSEY SHORE — The following Lenten services will be held in Nippenose Valley and Jersey Shore, Lycoming County at 7 p.m. each evening.

— March 18, Antes Fort United Methodist Church, 19 E. Fourth St., Antes Fort

— March 25, Oval United Methodist Church, 6796 PA-44, Jersey Shore

— April 1, St. James Lutheran Church, 3242 Middle Road, Rauchtown

A Maundy Thursday Service will take place on April 9 at 7 p.m. at Antes Fort United Methodist Church. A Good Friday Service will take place on April 10 at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.

Annual Lenten Soup Sale and Luncheon

MONTOURSVILLE — Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 31 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, will be holding their Annual Lenten Soup Sale and Luncheon every Thursday from now until April 2. The luncheons will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and include hamburg barbeque, hot dogs, homemade vegetable soup, baked beans and homemade pies. The cost for soup is $5 per quart. Lenten Services

MILL HALL – Lamar United Methodist Church, 5029 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, will be hosting Lenten Services with its sister churches every Sunday from March 1 to 29 at 7 p.m. Communion will only be held on March 1, 15 and 29 this year and an offering will be taken for the Jackson Runkle family. Jackson is 7 years old and was diagnosed with brain cancer.
