Area churches to hold in-person services

LOCK HAVEN — With Clinton County moved into the “green phase” of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan many area churches are transitioning back to in-person services.

The following churches have announced their intent to hold services. Any churches who wish to announce a service change is encouraged to contact Laura Jameson at ljameson@lockhaven.com or by calling 570-748-6791.

— Albright United Methodist Church, Loganton, will be holding services at 10:20 a.m.

— Beech Creek Wesleyan Church has resumed in-person services at 9 a.m. each Sunday. They will continue to live stream on their Facebook page as well.

— Clintondale United Methodist Church will hold in-person services at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday. Please wear a mask, unless health conditions prevent it, and observe social distancing as recommended. The service is also available through Zoom by calling 415-762-9988 and entering ID number 136797009.

— Common Place Church will be meeting at the Roxy Theatre at 10 a.m. Those who attend should wear a mask while moving around the theater but can remove it while seated and maintaining social distancing. Services will be streamed onling at commonplacechurch.com

— Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, will resume in-person worship at 8:45 a.m. Please use glass or ramp doors only and wear a mask.

— Faith United Methodist Church, 23 E. Brown St., Lock Haven, will resume in-person worship at 10:30 a.m. Please enter through the ramp door and wear a mask.

— First Baptist Church of Lock Haven will hold services at 10 a.m. with online viewing still available at facebook.com/fbclhapa. A small group discussion will also be held at 6 p.m. Sunday night and a Share and Prayer event Wednesday at 7 p.m.

— Flemington First Church of Christ will be holding in-person services at 8:45 a.m.

— Great Island Presbyterian Church is holding services on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.

— House of the Lord Fellowship will be holding services at 10 a.m. with online services still available on their Facebook page, House of the Lord Fellowship; Instagram, @HOTLFchurch and website www.houseofthelordfellowship.org.

— Holy Spirit Parishs will hold public mass beginning this Sunday.

— Jersey Shore Presbyterian Church will hold services inside at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The services will also be live streamed on their Facebook page and available later in the day on their website www.jspresby.org.

— Kingdom of Life Ministries, 129 Park Ave., Lock Haven, will be holding services at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday. Bible Study will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesdays and worship and prayer on Fridays at 7 p.m.

— Liberty Baptist Church of Blanchard will hold services on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. The church services will still be live streamed to their website www.lbcblanchard.com or Facebook at www.Facebook.com/lbcblanchard.

— Lock Haven First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven will be holding services while following CDC guidelines. The church’s new pastor, Matthew Kinley, will give the morning message.

— Mackeyville United Methodist Church is now holding Saturday night church services. They will be holding services at the outside pavilion and ask that you wear a mask and observe social distancing as has been recommended. Due to renovations, restrooms will not be available.

— McElhattan United Methodist Church, 502 McElhattan Drive, will be holding outside worship services Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. throughout the month of July (weather permitting). Please bring a chair and mask. The church restrooms will be available.

— New Hope Fellowship of Central Pennsylvania along state Route 64 is now holding indoor services. Masks are optional and social distancing are at the individual’s discretion.

There will be no snacks, bring your own coffee or water.

— People’s United Methodist Church in Farrandsville will be holding indoor services each Sunday at 9 a.m. Masks can be worn but are not required.

— St. Luke’s United Church of Christ, 1175 W. 4th St., Lock Haven will hold services at 10:45 a.m. each Sunday. Masks are required as they have no-contact services. Call 570-748-5741 for more information.

— St. James Lutheran Church in Rauchtown has resumed in-person worship services. Parishioners will be asked to wear masks and maintain physical distancing throughout the worship service.

— Trinity United Methodist Church, Loganton, will hold morning worship services at 9 a.m.
