Covenant UM cancels in-person worship

LOCK HAVEN — Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, is holding their Sunday Worship Service through Google Meet.

There is no in-person worship taking place in the building. This change became effective on July 19.

LOCK HAVEN — Faith United Methodist Church, 23 E. Brown St., Lock Haven, is holding their Sunday Worship Service through Google Meet.

Lasagna dinner

McELHATTAN –McElhattan United Methodist Church plans a Lasagna Dinner on Saturday, Aug. 1, beginning at 11 a.m. The dinner is take-out only with curbside pickup. Cost is a suggested donation of $10, wtih $1 from each dinner going to the SPCA. The menu includes lasagna, salad, Italian bread and cake for dessert.

Worship in the park

WOOLRICH — Woolrich Community United Methodist Church is holding worship in the Woolrich Park, Pavilion #1 on Sunday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. Handicap parking is available and masks are required. Please bring a chair.

Free yard sale

LOCK HAVEN — God’s Eternal Life Church, 30 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, will be holding its annual free yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Masks will be required to take part in the event.

The Kramers in concert

BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, will host The Kramers in a free concert this Sunday at 6 p.m. The Kramers are a national and international southern Gospel music family. They have been part of the Gaither Fall Festival and the National Quartet Convention. A love offering will be received for The Kramers. The concert will be held outside to promote social distancing. Chicken barbecue

DUNNSTOWN — Dunnstown United Methodist Church will be holding a take-out only chicken barbeque dinner on Aug. 8. The cost will be $10 for half of a barbecued chicken grilled by the Dunnstown Fire Company, baked potato, baked beans and roll. Meals can be picked up outside of the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold out. No advance tickets will be available.
