River of Life changes service times

River of Life Fellowship has changed their service times. The church will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in-person at 507 E. Main St., Lock Haven and via Zoom.

If necessary, services may be only via Zoom. For more information contact Pastor Janis Heiser at the church office by calling 570-660-6008.

Woolrich UM

WOOLRICH — Woolrich Community United Methodist Church is holding in-house worship Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at their church on Park Avenue. Safety guidelines are followed. Masks are required and temperatures are taken upon entry.

Reservations are required to maintain social distancing and capacity limits. For reservations, contact wcumc@comcast.net or message through their Facebook page each week by Tuesday at 7 p.m. Leave your name and a reliable way to contact you so confirmation can be received.

For those who wish to attend from home, no reservation is required. Just dial-in to service by calling 1-425-436-6384, access code 366144# by 10:30 a.m.

LOCK HAVEN — Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, is holding their Sunday Worship Service through Google Meet. There is no in-person worship taking place in the building. This change became effective on July 19.

Faith UM cancels in-person worship

LOCK HAVEN — Faith United Methodist Church, 23 E. Brown St., Lock Haven, is holding their Sunday Worship Service through Google Meet. There is no in-person worship taking place in the building currently. This change became effective on July 19.

Lasagna dinner

McELHATTAN –McElhattan United Methodist Church plans a lasagna dinner today, beginning at 11 a.m. The dinner is take-out only with curbside pickup. Cost is a suggested donation of $10, wtih $1 from each dinner going to the SPCA. The menu includes lasagna, salad, Italian bread and cake for dessert.

Chicken barbeque

DUNNSTOWN — Dunnstown United Methodist Church will be holding a take-out only chicken barbeque dinner on Aug. 8. The cost will be $10 for half of a barbequed chicken grilled by the Dunnstown Fire Company, baked potato, baked beans and roll. Meals can be picked up outside of the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until sold out. No advanced tickets will be available.
