Gloryway Quartet

JERSEY SHORE — Diamond Award Winning Quartet of the Year, Gloryway Quartet, will be performing at Jersey Shore Assembly of God, 172 Main St., Jersey Shore, at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13.

Zion Community Church to donate pews

BELLEFONTE — Due to sanctuary renovations, Zion Community Church is looking to donate their original pews to any church that is in need of them.

Free concert:

The Craguns

BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, will host The Craguns in a free concert on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m.

The Craguns are a national touring Gospel group. They have performed in some of the largest venues and on some of the largest radio and television shows in gospel music.

The concert will be held outside (weather permitting) to promote social distancing. Please bring a lawn chair.

Yard and bake sale

BEECH CREEK — Laurel Run United Methodist Church is hosting their annual yard and bake sale. This yearly tradition will be held at the church at 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, on Friday, Sept. 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please come and support the church.

FLEMINGTON — Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., will be holding a blood drive on Oct. 9 from 1 to 6 p.m. All types are needed.

Marriage Night

Soup sale

HOWARD — Howard United Methodist Church is holding a soup sale on Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Vegetable beef, ham and bean, chicken corn and chicken noodle soups will be available for purchase at $7 a quart. Take out only will be available.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit those in need.

NVC UCC resumes in-person services

LAMAR — The Nittany Valley Charge United Church of Christ will resume in-person worship services on Sunday mornings in all churches beginning Sunday, Sept. 6. Emmanuel (Jacksonville) has been worshipping at 10 a.m. since the beginning of August and will continue with a 10 a.m. service, including Aug. 30.

The Mt Bethel/Salona service will be at 11 a.m. on Sept. 6 at Mt. Bethel (Lamar), with the following Sunday’s service at 11 a.m. at Salona.

Masks and social distancing are requested.

River of Life changes service times

LOCK HAVEN — River of Life Fellowship has changed their service times. The church will be meeting at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday in-person at 507 E. Main St., Lock Haven and via Zoom. Woolrich UM holding in-house worship

WOOLRICH — Woolrich Community United Methodist Church is holding in-house worship Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at their church on Park Avenue. Safety guidelines are followed. Masks are required and temperatures are taken upon entry. Reservations are required to maintain social distancing and capacity limits. For reservations, contact wcumc1@comcast.net or message through their Facebook page each week by Tuesday at 7 p.m.
