LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will be sponsoring a senior luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at noon.
The meal will be held in the picnic pavilion behind the church. Please dress for being outside.
All Sugar Valley senior citizens are invited to attend the luncheon.
Return to worship
LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren have returned to worshipping in the sanctuary each Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
They ask those attending to wear a mask when entering and leaving the building and if you leave your seat during the service.
For those not comfortable with worshipping inside, they will continue to broadcast the service to their parking lot.
Chicken and biscuit dinner
JERSEY SHORE — There will be a take-out-only chicken and biscuit dinner at the Oriole United Methodist Church, 39 Main Road, Jersey Shore, on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Cost per meal is $6.50 for adults; $4 for children ages four to 12 years; and free for children under four.
HOWARD — Tired of politics, unrest, division and being cooped up at home? Join members of Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ for a seven week DVD series entitled “In Pursuit of Jesus.” Each Sunday evening now through late October at 6:30 p.m. The series is offered free of charge and will be held at 417 Summit Hill Road. LOCK HAVEN — The start of the Sunday School year begins this Sunday, at 9:30 a.m., at Great Island Presbyterian Church and everyone in the Lock Haven area is invited to attend! There is a class for everyone regardless of age. Come as you are, there is a place for you. Please note that masks and social distancing guidelines as outlined by the CDC will be adhered to.
