Great Island Presbyterian’s sanctuary sees renovations

PHOTOS PROVIDED

E.W. Merrifield contractors were hard at work in January renovating Great Island Presbyterian Church’s sanctuary. Plans began in September 2020 to give the space an update. The sanctuary hasn’t seen a renovation since 1972 following the Hurricane Agnes flooding. The heads of Great Island are looking forward to a possible public opening in June 2021. The church is located at 12 W. Water St., Lock Haven and pastored by Rev. Taylor Camerer.
