Lenten fish fry

LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish will be holding their annual Lenten fish fry beginning Friday, Feb. 19 at the parish center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. This year’s fry will be drive-thru only.

The meal will consist of baked or fried fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw and bread for $11. A child or petite meal will also be available for $6.

The fish fry will take place every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. through Lent, except for Good Friday.

Service canceled

FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington is canceling in-church services for the month of February. Virtual services will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays with Pastor Gary Nottis conducting.

Wednesday services

FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be offering Virtual Wednesday Evening Services, conducted by Pastor Gary Nottis, for the four Wednesdays in February. The service will begin at 7 p.m. and you may call to join in the service starting at 6:45 p.m.

Howard UM soup sale

HOWARD — Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard, will be holding a take out only soup sale on Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Soups available will be vegetable beef, ham and bean, chicken corn and chicken noodle at $7 a quart.

Pre-orders strongly encouraged because they do run out sometimes. Pre-order by calling/texting 814-625-2182, with types and quantity. Pay when pickup. Soup comes in freezable containers.

Proceeds benefit those in need, in the community and beyond. Masks and social distancing needed for pickup.

Beech Creek Wesleyan services

BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will hold Sunday service at 9 a.m. and include in person worship, in the parking lot by tuning into 100.5 FM; or live streamed at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church Facebook page. The church will also have Children’s Sunday School and Tween Sunday School each Sunday morning.

Virtual services

WOOLRICH — The Caldwell/McElhattan/Woolrich Charge of the United Methodist Church is worshipping together virtually until further notice. They will conduct services via livestream every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. by conference call or Facebook. Please “like” one of the churches on Facebook and join their service.

No in-person services

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in our area Bishop Park and the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church has encouraged all United Methodist churches to temporarily close until further notice. They will be holding services on Zoom.us or by phone at 9:30 a.m. Both Zoom.us and phone number 415-762-9988 will use meeting ID 136 797 009. Also starting Sunday at 11 a.m. you can view services on “Albright United Methodist Church-Sugar Valley” Facebook page.

Church updates services

BLANCHARD — Blanchard Church of Christ has updated its service times.

Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. in-person and via livestream on the church’s YouTube channel — Blanchard Church of Christ — and Facebook page. Those who worship in-person must wear a mask in the building at all times until 9:45 a.m.

Sunday school will be held at 10 a.m. with masks optional and another worship service will follow at 11 a.m. Social distancing is requested in the building at all times.

Church closed

FARRANDSVILLE — The People’s United Methodist Church of Farrandsville will be closed until further notice due to COVID-19.
