SV Church of the Brethren to hold turkey supper
LOGANTON — Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will hold its annual turkey supper on Saturday, March 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.
This year, because of the pandemic, this will be a take-out only meal. Supper will consist of the usual roast turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, roll and dessert. The cost is a donation and proceeds will benefit the church cemetery mowing fund.
Return to worship
JERSEY SHORE — St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 229 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore, will be returning to in-person worship services this Sunday, Feb. 21, at 9:30 a.m.
In addition to in-person worship they will continue to post the worship services on their Facebook page and website, www.stjl.org. The church invites you to come worship with them each Sunday. St. John is handicapped accessible.
Yard and Bake Sale
HOWARD — Beat the Winter Blues Yard and Bake Sale will be held at Curtin United Methodist Church, 305 Curtin Village Road, Howard, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb.27. Contact Larry Beahm, 814-355-9588 for more information.
MONTOURSVILLE — Episcopal Church of Our Saviour, 31 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville, will be holding a vegetable soup and indoor yard sale on Saturday, Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The sale will include baked goods and hot dogs.

FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be having a soup sale, held at the church on Saturday, March 13 from 9 a.m. until Noon. The soup will be $6 a quart. Soups for sale will be ham and bean, vegetable beef and chicken corn. You may place orders by calling the church office at 570-748-5741 and leaving a message, on or before Monday, March 8.
Bellefonte fish fry
BELLEFOTNE — Bellefonte fish fries will be Feb. 26 and March 5, 12, 19 and March 26 from 4-7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, Pa. 16823.
Because of the virus, the meals will all be served take out only, first-come-first-served and the menu must be abbreviated. The menu will be as follows: baked fish, fried fish or shrimp; each served with macaroni and cheese, cole slaw and a cookie. The cost will be $9 per meal.
You can pick up the meals by entering the school through the side door and exiting through the main door. Church volunteers look forward to bringing some normality to everyone and thank everyone for their support
Lenten fish fry
LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish will be holding their annual Lenten fish fry beginning Friday, Feb. 19 at the parish center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. This year’s fry will be drive-thru only.
The meal will consist of baked or fried fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert for $11. A child or petite meal will also be available for $6.
The fish fry will take place every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. through Lent, except for Good Friday.
LOCK HAVEN — People’s United Methodist Church of Farrandsville will re-open for services on Sunday, Feb. 21. Services will begin at 9 a.m. Masks are required.

Beech Creek Wesleyan services
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will hold Sunday service at 9 a.m. and include in person worship, in the parking lot by tuning into 100.5 FM; or live streamed at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church Facebook page. The church will also have Children’s Sunday School and Tween Sunday School each Sunday morning.
WOOLRICH — The Caldwell/McElhattan/Woolrich Charge of the United Methodist Church is worshiping together virtually until further notice. They will conduct services via livestream every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. by conference call or Facebook. Please “like” one of the churches on Facebook and join their service.

Church updates services
BLANCHARD — Blanchard Church of Christ has updated its service times. Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. in-person and via livestream on the church’s YouTube channel — Blanchard Church of Christ — and Facebook page. Those who worship in-person must wear a mask in the building at all times until 9:45 a.m. Sunday school will be held at 10 a.m. with masks optional and another worship service will follow at 11 a.m. Social distancing is requested in the building at all times.
