HOWARD — Howard Christian Church, 367 Walnut St., Howard, will be holding an Easter Bazaar on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The public is invited to shop for crafts and gifts, baked goods and Easter candies.
There will be freshly baked breads and bagels from Lycoming Bakery for sale.
Homemade ham potpie will be available for $8 a quart and must be preordered by calling or texting Sheri at 814-876-2910. Provide your name and the number of quarts you’d like to reserve.
All proceeds from the bazaar will benefit the church’s outreach program assisting those in need of the community.
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will be holding an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 28 at the church.
Virtual services continue
LOCK HAVEN — Great Island Presybterian Church continues its weekly Sunday virtual church services at https://www.greatislandpresby.org
The churches in the Nittany/Sugar Valley United Methodist Charge are now holding in-person services.
The new Sunday worship times for the churches are Clintondale and Greenburr Trinity at 9 a.m., and Loganton Albright and Mackeyville (beginning April 11) at 10:30 a.m.
Social distancing and mask-wearing are required at all churches.

FLEMINGTON –St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be returning to in-person worship services on Palm Sunday, March 28 at 10:45 a.m. All CDC regulations for in-person worship service will be followed, masks are required.
The churches in the Nittany/Sugar Valley United Methodist Charge will hold the following services:
— Maundy Thursday Service, 7 p.m. at Greenburr Trinity United Methodist Church.
— Good Friday Service, 6:30 p.m. at Clintondale United Methodist Church.
— Easter Sunrise Service, 7 a.m. at Mackeyville United Methodist Church.

BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church’s Holy Week Schedule is as follows:
— Palm Sunday at 9 a.m. with a children and tweens Easter presentation.
— Maundy Thursday at 6-8 p.m. with Holy Communion.

Laurel Run UM announces Easter services
BEECH CREEK — The Laurel Run United Methodist Church in Beech Creek will be holding Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services.
Both services start at 9 a.m. and all are welcome to attend. The church is located at 2899 Laurel Run, Road Beech Creek.
Palm Sunday take-out meal
HOWARD — Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard, will be offering a free Palm Sunday take-out meal on Sunday, March 28 from noon to 2 p.m.
The meal will consist of ham, potatoes, vegetables, slaw, roll and dessert. Please pre-order by phone or text at 814-625-2182 by March 24.
The meal is free to all, but any monetary donations will go to the Centre County YMCA Anti-Hunger Program.
LOCK HAVEN — First Church of Christ in Lock Haven will be holding livestream services soon.

JERSEY SHORE — The Jersey Shore Assembly of God Church in Antes Fort will be having a double concert featuring The Gloryway Quartet and The Detty Sisters today at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, will be having their annual Easter Eggstravaganza/Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 28 at 1 p.m. There will be thousands of candy and toy filled eggs as well as additional prize eggs. Bellefonte fish fry
BELLEFONTE — The final Bellefonte fish fry will be March 26 from 4-7 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, Pa., 16823.
Because of the virus, the meal will all be served take out only, first-come-first-served and the menu must be abbreviated. The menu will be as follows: baked fish, fried fish or shrimp; each served with macaroni and cheese, cole slaw, and a cookie. The cost will be $9 per meal.
You can pick up the meal by entering the school through the side door and exiting through the main door. Church volunteers look forward to bringing some normality to everyone and thank everyone for their support.
Lenten fish fry
LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish will be holding their annual Lenten fish fry beginning Friday, Feb. 19 at the parish center, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. This year’s fry will be drive-thru only.
The meal will consist of baked or fried fish, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, coleslaw, bread and dessert for $11. A child or petite meal will also be available for $6.
The fish fry will take place every Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. through Lent, except for Good Friday.
Beech Creek Wesleyan services
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will hold Sunday service at 9 a.m. and include in person worship, in the parking lot by tuning into 100.5 FM; or live streamed at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church Facebook page. The church will also have Children’s Sunday School and Tween Sunday School each Sunday morning.
WOOLRICH — The Caldwell/Woolrich Charge of the United Methodist Church is worshipping together virtually until further notice. They will conduct services via livestream every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. by conference call or Facebook. Please “like” one of the churches on Facebook and join their service.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in our area Bishop Park and the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church has encouraged all United Methodist churches to temporarily close until further notice. BLANCHARD — Blanchard Church of Christ has updated its service times. Services will be held at 8:30 a.m. in-person and via livestream on the church’s YouTube channel — Blanchard Church of Christ — and Facebook page. Those who worship in-person must wear a mask in the building at all times until 9:45 a.m. Sunday school will be held at 10 a.m. with masks optional and another worship service will follow at 11 a.m. Social distancing is requested in the building at all times.
