Virtual Easter services
Lock Haven House of the Lord Fellowship will be holding its Easter Sunday services on Facebook Live and in-person.
A Sunrise service will take place at 6:45 a.m., virtually, followed by regular services at 10 a.m. in-person. The service will also be available virtually at 10:15 a.m.
Easter egg hunt
FLEMINGTON — Join Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. Fourth St., Flemington, for an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. today. They will have thousands of eggs to be collected and exchanged for bags of candy. Other prizes will be offered by drawing names from those who register, including a couple of bicycles.
Search areas will be divided by age groups so kids will have a safe and fun time collecting eggs. This if for children up to the age of 12 accompanied by an adult.
JACKSONVILLE — The Nittany Valley Charge United Church of Christ will resume in-person Sunday morning worship services on Easter Sunday, April 4. Emmanuel, Jacksonville, will worship at 9 a.m. and Mt Bethel/Salona will worship at Mt Bethel at 10:30 a.m.. Masks and social distancing are required.
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, 217 Main St., Beech Creek, will be having their annual Easter Eggstravaganza/Egg Hunt on Saturday at 1 p.m. There will be thousands of candy and toy filled eggs as well as additional prize eggs. The egg hunt is for children 12 and under. Please bring your own basket. For more information, contact the church at 570-962-2732.
LOCK HAVEN — On Sunday, April 11, the Lock Haven Parish will reopen all four churches — Liberty and McElhattan at 8:30 a.m., Dunnstown at 9:45 a.m., and Swissdale at 11 a.m. Masks are required for all services.
Virtual Easter services
LOCK HAVEN — Great Island Presbyterian Church will be holding the following Easter services virtually.
A Maundy Thursday service on April 2 at 7:30 p.m.; Good Friday Tenebrae service on April 3 at 7:30 p.m.; and Easter services April 4 at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday and Sunday services will included communion, so be sure to have your bread/crackers and wine/juice ready.
The church will still accept “Fish Banks” for their One Great Hour of Sharing collection. They may be dropped off at the church the following week.
Kingdom of Life services
LOCK HAVEN — Kingdom of Life Ministries, 129 Park Ave., Lock Haven, will hold their Sunday morning services at 10:30 a.m. each week.
The church will also host a Bible study at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and a prayer service each Friday at 7 p.m.

Virtual services continue
LOCK HAVEN — Great Island Presbyterian Church continues its weekly Sunday virtual church services at https://www.greatislandpresby.org
The churches in the Nittany/Sugar Valley United Methodist Charge are now holding in-person services.
The new Sunday worship times for the churches are Clintondale and Greenburr Trinity at 9 a.m., and Loganton Albright and Mackeyville (beginning April 11) at 10:30 a.m.
Social distancing and mask-wearing are required at all churches.
LOCK HAVEN — First Church of Christ in Lock Haven will be holding livestream services soon.
The services will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. each Sunday via Zoom. To join the service use ID 827 1543 3026 and passcode 068740.
Beech Creek Wesleyan services
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will hold Sunday service at 9 a.m. and include in person worship, in the parking lot by tuning into 100.5 FM; or live streamed at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church Facebook page. The church will also have Children’s Sunday School and Tween Sunday School each Sunday morning.
WOOLRICH — The Caldwell/Woolrich Charge of the United Methodist Church is worshipping together virtually until further notice. They will conduct services via livestream every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. by conference call or Facebook. Please “like” one of the churches on Facebook and join their service.
