Lock Haven Parish announces changes to church schedule

LOCK HAVEN — The Lock Haven Parish of the United Methodist Church has announced that there will be no live services in the churches during the month of January.

Pastor Jay Saldana made the announcement via email to members of the church community.

All services, he said, will be electronic for this month with the exception of communion.

There will be drive by communion at each church every Sunday. The schedule is as follows:

— Liberty 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

— McElhattan 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

— Dunnstown 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

— Swissdale noon to 12:30 p.m.

Masks are expected and required.

Communion will be available for absent parties and home communion will be available as well.

Pastor Saldana also announced that he will maintain normal office hours (noon to 2 p.m.) Monday through Friday. The schedule is as follows: Tuesday McElhattan; Wednesday, Swissdale; Thursday, Dunnstown; Friday, Liberty. Allowances must be made for emergency visits, etc.

This is for one month only, he said.
