Flood Warning along Bald Eagle Creek
The National Weather Service in State College has issued a flood warning for Bald Eagle Creek at Beech Creek Station.
Early Friday morning, the stage at the station was 11.2 feet and the prediction is the water level will stay above and rise over the 11-foot flood stage through tonight.
That means minor flooding is occurring.
Also, at 11 feet, high water levels threaten the cottage area of Mill Hall downstream of Beech Creek Station.
Heavy rain was “training” over southern Clinton County all day Friday, with locally heavy downpours.
Residents are advised to be on alert.
Motorists are advised to not drive through running or standing water.
