Halloween plays a rainy trick UPDATE

LOCK HAVEN — Due to the forecast of heavy rains today and tonight some municipalities in the area who planned trick or treating for tonight, have changed their trick or treat times to Friday or Saturday.
The National Weather Service reports rain, with thunderstorms, should start around 2 p.m. today and some storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain.
Tonight will bring more rain and a possible thunderstorm, tapering off to showers after 2 a.m. Friday, according to forecasters.
And Friday’s high is expected to top out at 42, while the low Friday night is forecast to dip to 32 degrees, which is freezing.
Municipalities that have changed trick or treating to Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. include Logan Township, Loganton Borough, Greene Township, Renovo and South Renovo. Clintondale United Methodist Church changed its Trunk-or-Treat to today from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Those changing trick or treating to Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. include Mill Hall, Beech Creek, Avis, Jersey Shore, Bald Eagle Township, Bellefonte Borough, Woodward Township, Liberty Township, Pine Creek Township, Wayne Township, Lamar Township, Castanea and Howard. Mill Hall Fire Company has also changed its Trunk-or-Treat to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
