Winter Weather Advisory issued

A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for certain counties in Central Pennsylvania due to mixed precipitation through Thursday morning.

The National Weather Service says total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a glaze to one tenth of an inch are forecast, mostly for northern Clinton, Lycoming and Sullivan counties.

The advisory is in effect through 7 a.m. Thursday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania road.
