Still no new COVID-19 cases reported in Clinton

1,245 new cases of virus in Pa. brings total to 27,735

No new cases were reported in Clinton County Thursday afternoon, keeping the total at 8 cases, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported.

A total of 86 people have been tested within the county, 78 of which have come back negative, the department said.

One new case was reported in Centre County increasing their number from 72 to 73 and Lycoming saw no increase remaining at 30 cases.

One death is reported in nearby Tioga County, with a total of 13 cases within the area.

Throughout the Commonwealth, 1,245 additional cases were reported bumping the total up to 27,735 cases, the department reported.

Deaths spiked from 647 to 707 total and 113,735 people have tested negative to the virus.

Other counties surrounding Clinton continue to report one or more cases.

One case is reported in Cameron; four cases were reported in Potter; Clearfield county has nine cases and Union increased to 25 cases.
