No new COVID-19 cases in Clinton County
Clinton County added no new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 55 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the county and nine probable cases. So far 1,123 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County saw a decrease of five cases with 163 confirmed and nine probable, according to the department’s numbers.
Lycoming County remains the same at 168 confirmed cases and four probable, the department of health said.
Throughout the state, there are now a total of 779,818 cases since the outbreak first began. A total of 335 new cases were added on Wednesday.
The Department of Health reports 42 deaths on Wednesday, bringing the total to 6,319. In Clinton County, there have been three confirmed deaths. The health department has reported six deaths for Centre County and 18 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 75 percent of patients - about 59,863 people - with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 533,013 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
